The Huntsman in the Winter War and Greenbelt and Ayala MRT

You may already know about this but I just want to share my experience when I hiked yesterday from Greenbelt 3 to the Ayala MRT Station passing through malls in Makati.

It was so wonderful.

First, I was invited to watch the premier showing of "The Huntsman: Winter War" at Greenbelt Cinema 3. The story was good enough to make time for and it presented a twist to the Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs story.

It was Huntsman's kiss that saved Snow White from the witch's poisoned apple, not the prince's (in the first episode), but Snow White and the Prince were married anyway, leaving the Huntsman alone longing for his demised wife. That's where the story started.

I like how they gave a new angle on love and forgiveness in the story. But don't get it wrong. This isn't your usual Snow White Disneyland style love story. It is a full action movie, with lots of brutal fight scenes choreographed using martial arts techniques. That's the only reason why I watched both first and second episodes.

We had pop corn, tuna sandwiches, potato chips and water while watching.

And then after, we hiked from Greenbelt 3 to Greenbelt 4, Landmark, Glorietta, SM Makati and finally the MRT Station--all through a connected route. It was fascinating. It was a nice brisk walk, enjoying the mall sceneries, and all the while, I was imagining what would happen if suddenly a zombie viral infection suddenly broke out while we were there.

By the way, my first time to see Greenbelt again, and they have done so many improvements on it. You feel like you're in another country, a well developed one.

Here's the trailer of the movie:
